The same record carries the whole season: who is squadded, what they shot, what was certified, and who placed.
Squadding and posts
Captains build squads and set posts. Shoot management assigns traps and post times, and every change is tracked.
Scoring from any phone
A volunteer scans the squad code and marks birds as the squad shoots. No app, no account. Paper cards and imports feed the same standings.
Registration and rosters
Schools register, confirm entries, and bring their rosters in. Drop in a squad list and shooters match the roster automatically.
Public results page
Each organization gets its own page. Parents find a shooter's squad and post, and watch standings move from their own phones.
Cut the runners and the recount
Hand a volunteer a phone, let them scan the squad code, and scores go in as the squad shoots. Scoring locks once the squad is certified, and the token expires when the squad finishes.

Run a registered shoot, not just a club meet
Scholastic and club meets are the easy case. TrapCloud runs a full ATA registered shoot the same way: shooters enter by ATA number, class and earned yardage come from their permanent record, and the same certified scores carry through to the report your club submits.
Registration and classification
Shooters enter by ATA number. Singles and doubles class and earned handicap yardage come straight from their permanent cross-shoot record.
Rule-aware squadding
Handicap squads hold the yardage-spread rule: no more than two yards between adjacent posts, and three across the whole squad.
Scoring
Total-entry off the paper sheet or bird by bird on a phone. The same certified record feeds everything after it.
Awards
By class, category, and yardage group, plus HOA and HAA champions, with ties surfaced for the shootoff.
Options and cashier
Purses and payouts computed, the ledger tracked. Your club still holds and settles the money; TrapCloud does the math and keeps the record.

TrapCloud produces the complete report your club submits to the ATA. It does not file on your behalf, and the machine-readable upload stays in draft until the ATA's column spec is final.
Run a 4-H qualifier, cutline to advancement
4-H meets run on the same scoring core as scholastic and ATA meets. You get the same squads, posts, QR web scoring, and certification, with a 4-H rule layer on top for age divisions, the qualifying cutline, and the advancement roster your state coordinator needs. It is a full third meet type, from district qualifier to state match.
State rule profile
One 4-H engine, driven by a per-state, per-season rule profile: target count, cutline threshold, age bands, and team size. Kansas 2026 rules ship seeded; other states are configured from the same profile, with no per-state code.
Age divisions as of January 1
Divisions are bucketed by 4-H age on January 1 of the program year, per sub-discipline, never from the meet date, so a fall match still counts toward the right year. An athlete with no date of birth is flagged for review, never silently mis-placed.
Score and certify
The same QR bird-by-bird scoring, integrity checks, and certified results as every other TrapCloud meet. Nothing new to learn at the line.
Cutline and advancement
The qualifying cutline, for example 35 of 50 for trap or 30 of 50 for skeet, is evaluated on the certified scores to mark who advances. It never touches ranking or tie-breaks. Advancement is pass or fail at the line.

Families follow from the stands

Every organization is isolated. Role-based access means each person sees only what they should, and electronic scoring is locked behind tokens that expire when the squad finishes.

What is TrapCloud?
TrapCloud is software for running scholastic trap shooting meets. It handles squadding, QR-code scoring, live leaderboards, handicaps, tiebreakers, and awards. You can run club meets, 4-H meets, and full ATA registered shoots on it.
How does scoring work?
A scorer scans the squad's QR code and taps each hit on their phone, bird by bird. There is no app to install and no login. Scores show up on the live standings right away, and they are certified before any awards go out.
How much does TrapCloud cost?
The only thing you have to pay for is the organization's $99 a year. That covers the full core engine for every school and family: unlimited meets, QR and paper scoring, score checks and certification, live standings, and awards. Team tiers (Basic, Competitive, or Elite, per school) and the $30 a year Family Plan are optional and just add extra tools. Schools and parents pay nothing to take part.

Does TrapCloud support ATA registered shoots?
Yes. TrapCloud runs full ATA registered shoots, including sanctioning, classification and yardage, event scoring, cashier and payouts, and ATA reporting. You can run scholastic club meets and 4-H meets on it too.
Which programs and leagues does it work with?
It is built for scholastic trap and clay target programs like SCTP, the USA Clay Target League, and 4-H, and it also runs ATA registered shoots. You can set handicaps, divisions, and rules for each program.
How are ties broken?
TrapCloud breaks ties automatically using the rules you set, and it builds shoot-offs when they are needed. You do not have to work out brackets by hand.
Is my organization's data kept private?
